What are Skin Boosters?
Skin boosters are injectable treatments that improve the quality of your skin from the inside — deeply hydrating, smoothing texture and stimulating your own collagen and elastin. Unlike dermal fillers, they don’t add volume or change your shape; instead they restore the health, firmness and glow of the skin itself.
Delivered as a series of gentle micro-injections, they fall into two main families. Hyaluronic-acid boosters — such as Profhilo, Profhilo Structura and Seventy Hyal 2000 — flood the skin with moisture and stimulate remodelling. Polynucleotide treatments — such as Vitaran and Ameela — are regenerative biostimulators that activate the skin’s own repair processes.
Most are given as a short course of two to three sessions a few weeks apart, with results building gradually over the following weeks and maintenance every six to twelve months. They’re a wonderful option for the face, neck, décolletage, hands and delicate under-eye area — and your consultation will identify which is right for you.
