Plasmage is an advanced, non-surgical aesthetic treatment that uses fractional plasma energy to address a wide range of skin concerns with exceptional precision. It is particularly well known for its ability to tighten loose skin around the eyes, offering a highly effective alternative to surgical blepharoplasty without cutting, stitches, or prolonged downtime.
The treatment works by delivering controlled micro-bursts of plasma energy to the skin’s surface, creating targeted micro-injuries that trigger immediate tissue contraction and long-term collagen regeneration. Because the energy is delivered in a highly controlled and superficial manner, Plasmage is suitable for delicate and difficult-to-treat areas such as the eyelids, perioral region, neck, and areas affected by skin lesions.
Plasmage can also be used to treat fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, xanthelasma, skin tags, and benign skin imperfections. It provides visible tightening and resurfacing effects with results that continue to improve as the skin remodels and regenerates over time.
Plasmage works by generating plasma energy – the fourth state of matter – to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin. These micro-points cause immediate tissue contraction and stimulate fibroblast activity, which leads to skin tightening, regeneration, and remodelling.
The device delivers precise plasma arcs that target only the superficial layers of skin without damaging the surrounding tissue. This makes it safe and effective for delicate areas such as the eyelids, around the mouth, and neck.
Plasmage is generally well tolerated. A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment to minimise discomfort. Some clients may feel mild heat or tingling during the procedure.
Downtime varies depending on the treatment area. Most clients experience mild swelling and scabbing for 5-7 days, particularly around the eyes. Proper aftercare helps ensure smooth healing.
Common treatment areas include:
Upper and lower eyelids (non-surgical blepharoplasty)
Perioral lines (smoker’s lines)
Forehead and neck wrinkles
Xanthelasma
Acne scars and skin tags
Plasmage is suitable for many skin types and is generally best suited for fair to medium skin tones. Clients with darker skin tones may require a more detailed consultation to assess pigmentation risk.
Many clients achieve excellent results with a single session, especially for eyelid tightening. In some cases, a second treatment may be recommended after 6–8 weeks to optimise results.
